Privacy Policy
How Applied Business Consulting collects, uses, and protects your information — in plain language, because that’s how we work.
1. Who we are
Applied Business Consulting (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is an AI-adoption advisory practice for owner-led small businesses, based in St. Louis, Missouri and serving clients nationwide. Applied Business Consulting is operated by Andrew Naron, who is the person responsible for the information described in this policy. This policy applies to appliedbusinessconsulting.com and the services offered through it (the “Site”).
2. The short version
We collect only what we need to answer you, run the free AI Readiness Assessment, and understand how the Site is used. We don’t sell your information. We don’t send you spam. You can ask us to show you or delete what we have at any time.
This summary is for convenience only and does not replace the full policy below.
3. What we collect
Information you give us
- Contact form: your name, email address, and whatever you write about your business and what’s eating your time.
- Free AI Readiness Assessment: the answers you provide about your business, the tasks you want help with, and any contact details you enter to receive your results.
- Anything else you choose to send us by email or in a message.
Information collected automatically
- Analytics: pages viewed, approximate location from your IP address, device and browser type, referral source, and interaction events, collected via Google Analytics 4.
- Technical/server data processed by our hosting and security provider (Cloudflare): IP address, request headers, timestamps, and security signals used to deliver and protect the Site.
4. How we use it
- To respond to your inquiry and book or hold a working session;
- To generate and return your AI Readiness Assessment results, which may involve automated scoring;
- To operate, secure, and improve the Site;
- To understand aggregate usage of the Site through analytics; and
- To meet legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
If we ever want to send you occasional helpful email beyond replying to you directly, we’ll ask first, and you can opt out at any time.
5. What we don’t do
- We do not sell your personal information, and we do not “share” it for cross-context behavioral advertising as defined under California law.
- We do not send unsolicited marketing without your consent.
- We do not knowingly collect information from children (see below).
6. Who we share with
We share personal information only with the service providers that help us run the Site, and only as needed:
- Cloudflare, Inc. — hosting, content delivery, and security.
- Google LLC (Google Analytics 4) — website usage analytics.
- Any email or scheduling tools we use to reply to you or process an assessment, and any AI tools we may use to help draft a response — each of which processes the information only to provide that service to us.
We may also disclose information to comply with law, protect our rights and the safety of others, or in connection with a business transfer. We do not sell your information.
7. Cookies & analytics
We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies, primarily for analytics via Google Analytics 4. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking them may affect some functionality. Where required by law, we will request your consent before setting non-essential cookies.
8. How long we keep it
We keep contact and assessment information for as long as needed to respond to you and maintain our business relationship, and afterward only as needed for legitimate business or legal purposes. Analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics configuration. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see Your rights).
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to our size, including transport encryption (HTTPS) and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, to object to or restrict certain processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent.
| If you are in… | You have… |
|---|---|
| California (CCPA/CPRA) | The right to know, delete, and correct your information, and to opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell or share your information, and we won’t discriminate against you for exercising your rights. |

To exercise any right, email [email protected]. We’ll respond within the timeframe required by law and may need to verify your identity first.
11. Children
The Site is intended for business owners and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child provided us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.
12. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
